What did you see? Shakespeare? Poe? Angelou? …Common?Which is the best? Who has the best message?
Who used the biggest words, the best rhymes?
Who cares!
Poetry is a universal art form; it accepts everyone just as they are.
Wanna make a poem about shoe laces? Cool.
Romance? Great
Politics?... OK
Is there every a wrong way to make poetry? Nay I say. I consider it
a way of revealing. Opening yourself for others to either love or hate
or disregard. However, I think it’s one of the most amazing ways to
connect kindred hearts and minds.
